Tools & Gear I Use Daily
Stuff I actually use day-to-day to build web apps and get things done. Nothing fancy, just tools that work.
Workstation
14” MacBook Pro (M3 Pro)
My daily driver. Handles multiple IDEs, Docker containers, and browser tabs without breaking a sweat.
Xiaomi G34WQi Monitor
34” ultrawide at 180Hz. Perfect for having code, browser, and docs side-by-side.
Magic Keyboard with Touch ID
Love the Touch ID for quick logins. Numeric keypad is great for SSH ports and API testing.
Magic Mouse
Controversial choice, I know. But the gestures are too good to give up.
Herman Miller Aeron Chair
Best investment for my back. Worth every penny after years of cheap office chairs.
Development Tools
Cursor
My current IDE of choice. The AI tools and Git integration make it worth switching from VS Code.
Warp
Modern terminal with AI assistance. Faster and prettier than iTerm2. Using z, zsh, and oh-my-zsh plugins.
Design
Figma
Design everything here. The real-time collaboration is unbeatable for working with designers.
Database
DBeaver
Works with every DB I’ve thrown at it. Free, open-source, and does the job.
Productivity
Raycast
Replaced Spotlight and Alfred. Blazing fast with great extensions for Jira, GitHub, and more.
Monosnap
Quick screenshots and annotations. Simple and fast—can’t live without it.
Rectangle
Window management with keyboard shortcuts. Essential for managing multiple windows on Mac.
Alfred
Still use it occasionally, but Raycast has mostly replaced it. Great for custom workflows.
